I’m Kate Gray, a freelance sports photographer and journalist based in Saint Louis, Missouri. I’ve covered over 50 teams — from NCAA Division I programs to St. Louis CITY Soccer to the New York Mets. My work focuses on capturing both the intensity and emotion of competition. I have photos and written articles published in the Collinsville Daily News & am certified in Sports Journalism & Storytelling through the School of the New York Times. Currently, I serve as the head social media coordinator for Saint Louis University (SLU) Baseball where I create graphics, photo, and video content. I’m a member of the National Sports Media Association (NSMA), and additionally serve as a general athletics photographer for SLU.
